PhotoShow: Sliding Knowledge into the Classroom
How to Use It For the Teacher: You are a 3rd grade teacher who is currently educating his/her students on the state of Michigan. You will be introducing the topic at the end of the day when you know your students will be fidgety. They are having a hard time sitting still through books and you are looking for a new way to catch their interest. By putting together a quick presentation on PhotoShow, the students can see an overview of the things they will be learning about in the upcoming weeks. For the Students: As a teacher, you have just spent two weeks teaching your students about plants. In order to assess the students' newly learned knowledge, you want to have them get into groups of two and create a presentation that they will share with the class. You ask the students to create a slideshow that teaches others how to properly take care of a plant if they want it to flourish and grow. The show must include the necessary items that a plant needs to live. By using PhotoShow, the children can use freedom and creativity to prepare an exciting presentation to share with their classmates. |
